I make them every year . Mine are way meatier this year. Some times I steam them in banana leaves too. Mine have meat all the way through. I'm going right now to my freezer stash and eat the rest.

I used to have a Mexican g/f when I was 18 or 19. Her grandmother always made great tamales around Christmas. The grandmother has finally been replaced.
