Lighttpd help
Anyone know how to configure lighttpd ? My admin installed it and it seemed to work but only intermittently....Every so often there would be internal server errors. I installed it for streaming flvs, perhaps it just does not work well with html (I am serving both html and flvs on this box)?
Thanks |
It works well with both, you just need to configure a separate handler for streaming files (using mod_flv_streaming) and the default handler for html files.

try nginx instead.

I need this set up so i can stream flv files (fast forward)...will nginx do it?

Yes, I can help assist you in setting up lighttpd properly if you'd like.
Send me a private message and we'll discuss your issue and how I can help you. I work for mb and manage the servers for hoes.com and movieroom.com, which both run on a mixture of lighttpd and apache servers. |
