You want to focus on branding your site (not necessarily with "tube" in the domain name) rather than buying a lengthy or mediocre tube domain name that no one is going to remember. On another note, if this is your first shot at it, reconsider the revenue vs expense model for your future tube site.

I remember most of them have something in their terms saying how much you could give away unless if it was exclusive content, then you owned it. But that would get very very expensive to fill up a tube site with exculsive content. I thought about starting one and that seemed to be the biggest problem people who are not content producers or porn site owners would face. If you are looking to start a tube site, how did you plan on getting past that? Unless you were going to do what a lot of other people here are doing and getting 2 min clips from sponsors and using what they will provide for you.... i guess that is an option but then the site would basically be a MGP with a different layout. |
