To answer the question, most likely, just not in 2008.

If the Democrats don't get it together they will most likely be looking at 2016 before he has a shot at it.

I think you're right about 2016, but because another Dem will be in for 2 terms starting with the '08 election.

It's really sad to say that this is very possible.

To be honest, I'm surprised no one has made an attempt yet.

There's going to be a lot happening at the Democratic convention because none of the candidates will have the nomination sewed up, which is true for the Republicans as well. I think Edwards will wind up with the nomination.

The Democratic nominee will win the general election.

Personally, if the Republicans nominate Giuliani, Romney or Thompson I will vote for someone else.

If Huckabee or McCain is the Republican nominee then I am not sure how I will vote. Plus, there's always a chance for an independent candidate that I may prefer.

How I vote and who wins may be different. Just because I think a Democrat will win the election does not mean that I will vote for them.

I think people will vote for any Democrat rather than a Republican due to Bush's administration, much like they voted for Carter in response to Watergate and Nixon accomplished much more than Bush has done.

i dont think Obama would be a bad president at all. at least he's extremely likeable. Hillary is a pretty vicious shrew and its clear from whats happening that the more people know about her, the more people don't like her.

Ehm...that could be said for EVERY president. And for some it has been.

It's also possible somebody will take aim at Clinton.

What surprises the fuck out of me is that APPARTENTLY nobody has tried to pop Bush...

Obama isn't bad but he seems to be alot of talk and he also seems to be the typical "car salesman" type of guy. The way that he uses the tone of his voice reminds me alot of Martin Luther King. Obama tries to "sell" himself much more than the other candidates by using the tone of his voice as if he is already a major leader of some sort. That comes across to me as being kinda...umm...fake? I don't know...but that's the way I feel about it.

The other candidates seem to be more "real" with the way they portray their views. Don't get me wrong though....Obama has a fucking great personality and he seems to be a very intelligent individual but....how much experience does he really have? Does he really have enough experience in politics in order to run the country? I feel that Hillary will win and if that's the case, I'll be fine with it. Better for her to win than for some religious right winged republican that want's to play "morality police" even more than Bush Administration does.

Besides, with Hillary in office, I feel that the country would be in better shape due to the fact that we would actually have TWO presidents...Hillary AND Bill. (Hell, you know that Bill would have some influence over political issues due to the fact that he was the ex-president and THE HUSBAND of Hillary.)

I don't see how we could go wrong with that but of course, that's just my personal opinion. All in all, Obama and Hillary are both cool with me but if I had to choose...I'd probably choose Hillary. She's a very smart woman with alot of experience regarding politics.

his name sounds too much like Osama! I like Mccain. He served in Vietnam and won a purple heart. we are at war and I think we need a president with military background. It might sound ignorant on my part, but I have a tough time trusting any of these politicians. It might be a hasty generalization , but take Bush for example. He reminds me of the spoiled little rich boy that winds up on top because of his daddy! I had more respect for his father, he served in the military. You didn't see him open up this can of worms his idiot son did! Turn the middle east into a parking lot! they all want to die and see alah anyway, let's send em all on a one way pass!!!!!
