Any idea what that costs? lol
|
because there are 7 of them that manage each room
|
in Mozambique they live on $30 per month, hotel rooms start from $150 per night
|
It's a scam to fuck tourists over....
|
Kard63 I guess you are from the USA?
Ok I will try to give a honest point of view on this subject. the usa is actually very low cost and so are the salaries paid. Not everyone in Russia,Romania,Czech etc is on $150 a week in fact you would be surprised how wealthy and how much business takes place in these countries, even india has rooms for $500+ a night and I guess you thought they had nothing there. Most countries are going from poor to rich on a business level such as china ,of course a lot of people will remain poor. I was in London England last year with some american friends and they couldnt handle how much everything cost. Its a sad fact that the usa was once a leading force and it still maybe but as regards spending power when your away from home you are way behind the new global earnings and pricing of goods and services Just my outlook on things ! |
Some hotels/countries do give 50%+ discounts to local residents...
Aside from that, hotels are generally for tourists not locals so that's the reason behind the cost. |

https://www.cia.gov/library/publicat...k/geos/ee.html https://www.cia.gov/library/publicat...k/geos/us.html I'm not very impressed. It looks like the salaries paid in the USA are quit a bit higher and probably would be double if we didn't have a foolish president who lowered the value of the dollar. I'm not sure what you mean by "leading force" but we have the most money and bombs. I don't know anything more influential than money and bombs..... I'm guessing there are so many poor people in these countries that can't even afford to leave their house (or whatever they live in) so the service industry only exists for the few rich and tourists... |
You're not going to find a room to rent for just 1 month, rentals are usually for 3-6 months at least ... You can also find cheaper solutions, but still very good, such as rent by night, with an average of $80-90/night, still a lot for 1 month ...

just curious - why out of all places in the world you picked Romania for your stay???
|
Kard63,
sorry to rattle you, Is the UN anything to go by? it puts USA 12th http://www.propertysearchnow.com/top...acestolive.htm and I love your quote: we have the most money and bombs. I don't know anything more influential than money and bombs..... you are the BIGGEST debtor to China(thats not good not good at all!) and yes its your bombs that have made your dollar go down like a sinking ship. Give me a break only 10 minutes ago on CNN estimated USA jobs increase 70,000 actual jobs 17,000 ,expect the dollar to drop Monday even more :1orglaugh Disclaimer: I have many american friends and business partners I also own a great timeshare in Florida this is simply a debate on world economy and my thoughts..before I get any of the ..you hate USA comments :winkwink: |

Let me enlighten you. Moscow is the most expensive city in the world, second year in a row. Why? Russia aint that rich? Ok, lets break it down. In Moscow you will find large corporations, it will bring prices up. In Moscow lives all the rich russians, it will bring prices up. In Moscow lives most forgeiners, of all the russian cities, it will bring prices up. Moscow is russis biggest tourist attraction, it will bring prices up. Now, theese are some simple examples, there are a lot more. But the average salary aint high, just because if you go to some smal city that barely is pointed out on a map, they are poor as fuck. Really poor. But that doesnt matter, because when you mention salary and everything, its calculated PER CAPITA IF YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS YOU FUCKING TWAT. |
Same thing applies to romania ofcourse.
If you go to some village / smaller city, everything is a lot cheaper. |

just a quick note and the figures maybe slightly in accurate USA minimum wage ? about $5.85? in the UK its about $11 bucks in france its about $11.50 Ireland about 12 bucks and I think over $12 bucks in australia although I could be wrong. Get the idea ? Yes of course its more expensive to live in many places but thats my point ,the USA is low wage, low prices and when you leave to visit other countries you see a total different global market. Am I happy ? No the world is getting expensive but Im from europe and understand this situation something that alot of first time travellers from the USA dont and get a big shock :( |
hehehhhe you dont give us too many shots huh..your like a sitting duck as a target :1orglaugh.
you and us ? In my life there is no you and us sorry,we are all equal and im as one. Did bush get in by accident I thought he was re-elected? or did I miss something :1orglaugh your like a cute little puppy :) |

It all depends on the location. There are a lot of hotels here and there (smaller hotels) for truckers etc. |

The answer is simple, If they were not $150/night
then romanians would only be getting $50 per week |

anyways, services in romania are too expensive for the quality you get. but people still buy these services because they have to few alternatives. |
Welcome to the ever evolving capitalism (until it's flaws brings it's collapse), where as always the greatest beneficiaries are the wealthy, and the greatest losers are regular people..
Now that the wealth of western countries erodes due to globalism, what people will still have their financial comfort, thanks to investing more & more in developing countries..? If You have the ability to gain wealth - do it, and USE it... or You're in for an ever increasing poverty instead. |

There isn't anywhere in this fucken world a hotel in every village. If you can find me a country that has a hotel in every village, point it to me and I will apologize. However there are hotels in villages which are NOT in a tourist area, but not in all of them. Logics is something strange for you... When you spoke about a hotel in every village I took it figuratively. I really did not think that you are so retarded to mean it literally because then it does not make sense what you are saying as what you said is true for all the world (that is called a truism you dumb fuck). This is why I spoke about cities with more than 50.000 fucking people (small places to be). They should ban you for being subhuman, I mean I can bet that even a monkey is smarter than you... I am here and I can tell you their economy is going to crash very soon. The RON is dropping weekly (thank god because i get paid in dollars) however everything is getting more and more expensive.
They are trying to become an EU country but dont have the financial weight to back it up. Rent on my apartment is higher here than it would be stateside and so forth. The only things that I see is that 90% of my friends own their apartment/house purchased by their families in the nineties when it was dead. Soon the new generation will be moving out and I think its safe to say that mommy and daddy wont be able to give them a place to live or pay their rent. I'll be ready to buy some real estate when it crashes |
also, get a Romanian to book your hotel, as soon as they see your foreign the price goes WAY up.
Thats why I have my Romanian buddies find rentals for me. |
This thread fucking rules! i love when shit turns into the "i know you are but what am i arguments" LOL

If Romanians make $150 a week
How about $200-$300 per month if they are working full time 7 days per week and the Monday to Friday 12 hours per day?! Weekends are more relaxing bwhahaha but you don`t want to know how many hours :) This country sucks sometimes :disgust |
