How to Spot A Ron Paul Supporter
 

* Is on the internet 25 hours a day.
* Is obese
* Is a virgin who couldn't get laid in Bangkok.
* Has achieved an operating thetan level of 4 or higher.
* Lives in Montana, Wyoming, Texas, New Hampshire, or outside of the USA, where they can be found in the basement of their parent's house.
* Always bitching about the property taxes he doesn't pay on the house he doens't own, even while attending public schools.
* Has at least 100 sockpuppet accounts on Youtube. Posts "9/11 was an inside job! VOTE RON PAUL!!11" on random Youtube videos that have nothing to do with politics.
* Cant get through reviewing the toaster he bought on amazon.com without mentioning VOTE RON PAUL 2008 over 9000 times.
* Steals credit cards to contribute the monies to the campaign. Mistakenly assumes that you care about how much money Ron Paul has raised.
* Brings at least 3 or 4 firearms to his shitty Tech Support job while going on about civil disobedience.
* Owns more firearms than the entire country of Portugal
* Will always refer to Ron Paul as "Dr. Ron Paul" (as if holding a medical degree somehow qualifies you to be the leader of the free world).
* Hates Leftards
* Enjoys slapping Ron Paul bumperstickers all over random vertical surfaces
* Lives in Europe, having no voting rights in the United States whatsoever.
* Claims to have read the constitution but actually hasn't.
* Becomes emotionally distressed when someone says something remotely bad about "Dr. Paul", resulting in incoherent shrieking about Neocons, the NWO, and the Federal Reserve.
* Spouts conspiracy theories about just about everything. Accuses the mainstream media of fixing polls because they're "afraid of a Ron Paul presidency"
* Will accuse any detractor of hating the Constitution and hating liberty. This isn't at all similar to how neocons label detractors as freedom-haters who hate America.
* Believes that Ron Paul has a direct line that connects to the founding fathers, allowing him to understand the constitution better than the Supreme Court.

lets ask the question a different way.

Assume president Bush is running and said "i want to get rid of income taxes" .... would you think "hmmm, George W Bush is clearly the best person to be President of the USA... what could possibly go wrong?"

Except Paul has an exceptional history of following through. And he actually has legit plans and reasoning backing up his claims - for example, you can kill taxes significantly if you dont spend billions in a useless war overseas.

people seem to be confusing a consistent VOTING record with actual being the President and having to get the House and Senate behind you, unify both parties and actually get them to move in a common direction... his direction.

Presidents aren't kings. Presidents represent one branch of government.

and yeah... you can THEORETICALLY eliminate income taxes by doing this, doing that and doing the other thing. The government can't balance the budget as it is and not overspend. So of course, it makes sense to any totally insane person that removing 30-40% of their revenue is going to improve that.

I'm sure things will work out just fine... he'll remove the income tax, his first day in office (not sure how that would work) - then, being a thoroughly dysfunctional leader, he's going to bring the government together to balance the budget with 30-40% less money than current levels.

then... he'll just keep waving his magic president wand to correct every possible wrong on his own, without Republicans and Democrats.
