|
Wow...they really managed to fuck up the look that had me excited to begin with. Now it just like a plastic piece of shit.
|

There is no "e" in Camaro god damnit!
|
Is it possible the uglier one is the base model?
I know they always had some pretty major cosmetic (and performance) differences between all the different trim packages, everything from the rear spoilers to the hoods to ground effects, etc. I wonder if they will be keeping the RS, Z28 and SS badges? |

I've been a big fan of Firebirds ever since '87, and have owned 7 of them. I still own one of the last ones to roll off the assembly line. I've upgraded the exaust system, suspension, gear ratios and air intakes and this spring I'm getting headers, new computer, cool air themostat, etc.
After these upgrades I'll drive the piss out of it for the summer and then put a big-assed deposit on a brand new Camaro and hope to be one of the first in Montreal to get one. I haven't decided on the Transformers Bumble-Bee Yellow with the black racing stripe, or a grey one, but I know for sure it'll have ever single option that Chevy offers. Man I can't wait. It won't be as cool as the Firebird but I know it'll kick ass, ESPECIALLY those under-powered Mustangs that, lets face it, are only useful for ladies who want a car with a little "pep" for grocery shopping. Tee-hee! m |
damn!, a pussy magnet.
|
I'd drive it!
|
Amazing. Only pictures from the back. How boring.
|
it's the same car from transformers
|

??? http://www.sportscarcup.com/cars/for...gt-in-race.jpg http://images.leftlanenews.com/conte...official-1.jpg There are very few pictures of the actual production car without camo on. http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g60/mdenz3/c5.jpg The picture the OP posted is GMs first offical release of the car. They will also stop using the Camo now so more pictures will start to show up. The first customers can expect to have one in the 1st half of 2009. Pricing has not been set, but GM has said it will be priced very competative to the mustang. So I would expect it to come in just a bit under the price of a similarly options mustang. Engine will be a V6 in the base model, and the V8 in the Z28 should have 400+hp. |
Yes, looks like Mustang GT

Its like saying a Porsche 911 looks like a G35 coupe. I mean the overall shape is kinda the same, but the lines are completely different, rear end is completely different, windows are completely different.... etc etc. |

Looks pretty nice if you ask me....

Challenger concept car. I find it odd dodge is calling it a 2008 car yet still dont have an actual production car in any of the pictures. |
GM will only be hoping that HP will save the much uglier than we all expected final production car. Honestly All of the pics of the COUPE don't get me excited but the topless version does... alot of the pics I've seen just look like the old hemi 'cuda's

The window configuration is identical minus slightly changed lines and the stance is similar. Maybe we'll see more of a difference when we see the front end but as of now, the biggest differences in those pictures are the gas tank placement, the sunroof and the front end lip. The similarities are much more striking than those between a Porsche and a g35. I'd say it's in the realm of a 350Z and a G35. :2 cents: |
