I never said it was genius marketing, it was always good marketing. When I came on board one of the first things I asked about was the banner and how it was annoying webmasters.It was only after looking at the number of sales and referrals that I realized that it may be annoying to me,but it makes damn good money. The bottom line is people talk about the banner,more good than bad

It went to shit after new looking stats system(No new signup since then).

That could be true, but do you have other statistics to compare with? I mean statistics of silent banner? IMO, that could make you even more money. A real marketer would give that a try so that he can have numbers to analyze.

Has the banner outstayed its welcome? Probably.

On the other hand, Duke is an exceptionaly smart man, and knows how to sell his product. Him - and his team - have always been gracious, professional, and eager to help and answer ANY questions I've posed (when they can figure out what the hell I'm talking about).

Shit, I even bug Sherm (easily the best affiliate rep I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with) with concerns I have with OTHER programs.

I'm webmaster number 42 with Duke Dollars. For almost 4 years I've promoted Duke's sites, and held member access to those sites. They are sexy, shocking, repulsive, and hilarious. The sites are frequently updated and continually evolving.

Duke's sites sell and retain members second to none. DD knows how to make their paying customers AND their webmasters happy.

Don't let a banner turn you away from what - for me - has been a long, profitable, pleasureable relationship.

Think about it - Duke Dollars has absolutely no regard for any webmaster on this forum. They insist on using the most annoying banner possible to draw attention to their shitty program. What makes you think they give any more of a shit for you as a webmaster? Here's a clue - they don't.

I wouldn't promote those fucks if it was the last program on Earth and I urge every webmaster here to tell them to fuck off.

Don't reward them for deliberately annoying honest webmasters and making browsing GFY an annoying experience.

Punish them instead.

Also, don't believe the Duke Dollars stooges who they ask (BEG) to post up good ratios in threads like this. They are fake. The real ratios from people I have talked to - who have only regretted promoting them - are around the 1:5000 range.

They do not convert and you are wasting your hard earned traffic.

This thread just made me check my sales stats for Duke Dollars. I am actually in shock at the results, I never promoted them for a long stable time, but seeing these numbers I am asking myself why. This has been a big oversight on my part, gonna put that right. Ghetto Gaggers especially, I can't believe I missed that.

Wow, that question is a connundrum. It depends on how much the site skims, how many bookmarkers, niche of said mgp/tgp etc. Off our own mpg's we do on average 1:700 and that includes a good chunk of 404/401 too.
