Is there a tool to send/paste/post text from browser to a url?

Should go something like this:

I select the text -> right mouse button -> " Send to URL "

and it does a POST or GET of the selected text to the specified URL.....?

Google toolbar has this but only for Blogger and Gmail.... and i think the URL is hardcoded
in the application..so cant hack that..

I have looked in XP under both IE and Firefox and cannot find the "Send to URL"

I use Maxthon browser and it does it. Best fucking thing I've ever come across. I highlite any url, drag it with my mouse just a little, and when I release it, the url opens in a new tab. Or, if it's just a word or phrase, it opens in google and shows the search results for it.

Love it. Couldn't surf without it. Other browsers probably do the same thing. This is the only one I've used for the last several years so I don't know.

Sometimes there are short cuts hidden within Windows.

You could do the same thing with Firefox as you can do with the Maxthon browser using plugins.
