How close will the polls be today in Iowa? Numbers inside.
 

Here is what the polls say as of 1.2.08 in Iowa

Huckabee - 29.0%
Romney - 28.3%
McCain - 12.8%
Thompson - 11.8%
Paul- 7.5%
Giuliani - 6.0%

These numbers are an average of the Zogby, SR, CNN and Des Moines Register polls. Most are within 1-2 points of each other.

I'm curious to see if anyone comes out of nowhere with a big surprise.

Oh and for the dems it goes like this

Obama - 29%
Clinton - 28.6%
Edwards - 26%
Richardson - 5%
Biden - 4.5%

Who gives a fuck about Iowa.. Theres only like 300,000 voters in Iowa.. Thats as many as there are voting just in the San Fernando Valley LOL...

I think that's why Huckabee Landed in Burbank this morning and said fuck Iowa.. In a week, no one will give a shit about Iowa..

Iowa is a big deal for some candidates. If a person is lagging in the national polls and makes a very good showing in Iowa they will be all over the news and it will help them get free publicity and raise more money. In the last election Kerry used Iowa to come out of nowhere and launch his campaign. They are a very conservative state though, so it is no wonder a guy like Huckabee is doing well. He needs this to show the rest of the nation that is outside the bible belt that he is a legit contender. I think, ultimately, the race will move on to more progressive states and he will falter there, but for guys like him Iowa is a big deal.
