You know what I want to know is where were all the people supporting the adult stores when this ordinance was being debated? Why were they not at their town council meetings saying "No Fucking Way!" and why were there not letters to the editor before this started getting put into law? Where was the fucking Free Speech Coalition? How about the ACLU? People always seem to wait until the law is on the books to start bitching about stuff. By then, its already too goddamned late most of the time.

The lady in the video is one of those nutjob Christians trying to ban pornography. She's pretty well known in that area and has run for public office (and lost). She has actually been arrested a few times on things such as suspended license, battery, failure to appear at court, etc. Gotta love those holier than thou people who seem to end up in jail all the time.

A lot of these ordinances get put in place without many people knowing. Not everyone is going to scour the local paper everyday to notice a small blurb about being 500 feet from a residential area. On top of that, not many people are going to show up to their town council meetings to support a porn shop. Porn is still taboo in this country and while people love it, they love it in private.

I will actually write the ACLU about this. I think they actually do a good job on these issues. The FSC on the other hand is too concerned about raising money to look into this I'd imagine.

I dont smoke(well 1 every so often but no big deal) I saw the non smokers get the upper hand ,then I spoke to my friend in the UK and he told me kids cant sit on santas lap anymore there!!!! omg... ..no idea why maybe its a politically correct thing now?...

The reason they don't know is because not only do they not read the papers, they also do not go to council meetings, watch the courts, read the legal notices, subscribe to any of the official reporter newspapers, vote, read the real internet news (NOT to be confused with the corporate media's drivel) or do anything else to educate themselves. When was the last time the ACLU took a porn case? I think they are more worried about the rights of people who have no rights [illegals] these days, that and appealing to whacked out socialist-democrats. And yeah, the FSC does not do much of anything that is useful or worthwhile anymore.

1) A LOT of people in porn don't want it to be public knowledge, so no shit they're not lining up at city hall to protest.

2) A LOT of people in porn are self-absorbed egomaniacs who will come here and bitch when it's too late.

3) A LOT of people in porn deserve any shit they go through because they insist on pushing the boundaries of decency and slapping the faces of those before them who fought hard to earn the rights they abuse today. Whew.

In essence, the law has come a long way to allow most pornsters to earn a living, but enough of you insist on pushing the envelope... and see #1 and #2
