Advertisers pay to have their ads displayed in ad blocks like the one below. Publishers display these ad blocks on their websites and generate revenue from the clicks they produce.

We had an ad network (and about 50 other websites/domains) stolen from us a few months ago by that guy that has been ripping people off here for years, under dozens of different names, David Stodghill.

This ad network was designed with super security in mind, as to thwart any such attack like that in the future.
