Maddison jumps 322 feet, 7½ inches for new world record
 

This is insane...I have jumped 150 feet over and over again...But just thinking about how fast and far he is going on that CR 500 is unthinkable.
I have seen him practicing and he's done 350 at practice a few times. But I guess the winds slowed him down a bit, but still the record. :thumbsup

He came down smoothly from 60 feet high. What kind of shocks does he use?

It's a heavy 2 Stroke bike, CR 500. They have great suspension and great shocks. I'm sure they modify them a bit to take the hit, but as long as its on that landing, its all good.

Up to 60mph it would cane anything, and I mean anything.

It was funny as hell to listen to the ESPN announcers trying to convince the viewers this was an "athletic" event. Over and over they kept reassuring us that this was indeed very "athletic". I am not disputing this but it was amusing how often they kept repeating it.

These motocross, freestyle guys get no respect for these things. I have friends doing backflips over 135 foot gap, but mainstream networks don't care.
