sheesh, I didn't think people would be that touchy about a simple browser resize since you could just open the website in a new browser window and presto your life is back to perfect.... I put the auto resize code in there to make it fit and look better, It's like 1 line of code and really didn't think people would be all in a fluff about it. I would have thought that the program itself would be what you were interested in, not the size of the window it opens in.... to each his own i guess.

Make the design central, other then that its fine.

I don't know if current versions do this but at least in the past closing a resized window in IE would save those dimensions, and any future windows opened would be that size. It's not just a one-off annoyance because it's actually changing the browser config, in a way. Something to consider.

BTW, do you have hosted gals?

center the content... let it "fit" by iteslf. the blank space outside of your content can be ignored by those who have a larger window.. that will be 10x better than resizing.

it can be as simple as a table or a div... centered on the page. I for one to not mind white space. If I wanted my window smaller I would make it smaller myself.

and yes, we as the webmasters are that nitpicky. for this reason I'm not half as interested in your program as I would have been without the annoyance.

It´s not all about the size, well at least in this case. A surfer won´t like any changes at his browser. It´s about trusting your site. A surfer may think that browser size is not all you are changing.:2 cents:
