Do people shoot guns in your neighborhood for New Years?
 

In my hometown and I'm sure in many other places, it is custom to fire off shots into the air when the clock strikes twelve....I'm not particularly fond of it, especially since this year, I'm sitting next to an open window.

Is this custom shared in your neck of the woods?

im hoping no but a guy got killed about 5 blocks away, a month ago. so who knows.

Yep. Southern Cali it's pretty much given that it happens all over. They are seriously cracking down this year in L.A. County and other areas but I doubt that will hinder it much. I'm sitting by an open window right now too. Still have an hour and a half to go. :(

Yes they shot them off here in AZ too. Not usually in Tempe where I live, but they shoot off guns in Phoenix. I hope the bullet comes down and hits them for being so damn dumb.
