To those of you who will actually be posting on GFY at midnight on new year's eve
 

I'm not sure why some GFY'ers will be here on a message board at such a time instead of being out at parties and kissing every hot chick or guy they can find at midnight, being with your friends and loved ones etc, but that's the way it is.

Some of you will be here.

To you I say all the best in the new year. Hopefully you make a resolution to make some changes for next year so that you're not stuck at home posting on a damn message board at new year's eve when you should be out having fun with real people.

And I'm not knocking anyone. Certainly there has been at least one year since the board started that I too have been here on new year's eve. It's no shame, it's just something that I wouldn't recommend making a habit of, that's all.

I may do a, "Hello" post on New Years ~midnight.

It's much easier to have a social New Year's if you live in a city. When i lived "downtown" I could walk, cab to bars. When you live in the country it's a different story ... if you have to drive it's probably a different story no matter where you live.

We had friends over last night and will just stay home tonight.

Im getting to bah on many parties, unless they are at my place and then I can kick everyone out when I am sick of them :winkwink:

I am still debating if I can be bothered going out.... and its 7pm here.

I am showered and dressed so if the mood takes me I can just go.

Hey CDSmith I agree with you and I can admit I have spent a some important days lurking boards but with the prices, the hype, line ups and bullshit I can't see myself going out tonight.

Who knows time will tell.
