Nickelback is a good band. They could have been having an off day and were being dicks because of it. That does not change the fact that their music is good.

I'm a big fan of Nickelback, been to all their Aussie concerts and DRAGGED Chr0makey along to one also. There stage show is amazing and they do a real good job of keeping the crowd amused! 2 thumbs up if you ask me

The sad thing is that those asshat's appeal to millions of people worldwide. It shows how tasteless most people are with their musical selections.

Every song of their is formulaic. Every song is dumbed down and literal to appeal to those who hate thinking about lyrical depth. Every song is made with the intent of selling records. There is no art to what they do :\

I really really like them but the newer video they did with Santana.. the lead singer of Nickelback bleached out and flattened his hair ..
He totally looks like a puss now instead of a rock star :-(

Sorry but they have style and character which is very rare these days.

I like them since I've heard their 3rd (?) album, "All the right reasons". Is a masterpiece I think. Tough, firmly sounding and fast rock songs, with some beautiful ballads. Great rock music with pure power and intensity in it.

Anyone agrees with the statement that rock music is about sex? I think there's much more in rock than sex (is a good thing though :1orglaugh)

Here's some interesting trivia!

Did you know that Nickelback has only written one song? A few years ago they won a contest to get free studio time, and used the 4 hours to perform one very long repetitive song, which they been using ever since. Whenever they need to release a new "single" they simply slice out about 3 minutes of that original song and package it up with a new video. When they need the song to be a ballad, they just slow the song down and use Autotune to correct the voice.

Those people didn't pay to see the Nickelback group, it was a music festival with like 20 bands. the Nickelback group just happened to suck the most so got the crowd pissed off.

LOL, glad to see that. I was in a band in early 03 and we met witha label representative and played the demo. The guy goes "well its good... but if you wnat to make it, you really need to be a little more like Nickelback"

Our singer flipped (which was pretty unlike him) and told the guy off pretty harsh. It was pretty funny. But hey what can I say they have sold millions of albums. Ahh youthful ignorance.

Never been a fan of their music. One or maybe two Nickelback tunes have edged the radar with me but nothing more. Whenever I've heard any of their latest stuff I've pretty much cringed. People using words like "cookie cutter", "formulaic", and the like are spot-on. They have their own sound, it's just too generic for me.

Ya'll don't need to get bent out of shape about this Nickelback group. They're just a pop act, no different than the Backstreet Boys, N'Sync, Menudo, etc. Just that they've got guitars and mullets instead of dance moves.
