I Killed a Guy Buying a Car Today
 

I went to a dealer today. My wife's ride wasn't big enough for our bursting family, so we headed to the dealer to trade in our trusty Denali. We get to the dealership around 11:00 AM.

Well.. I hate buying cars... but when I do.. I leave the lot knowing that the dealer is feeling like he should have had a jar of Vaseline.

Around 5:00 PM? and several hours of haggling about trade in price, vs retail, vs MSRP, Rebates, Shit like that.. we had come to a deal.

We shook hands and started the paperwork.. well.. sometime during the paperwork process? I started to bitch about the Gap insurance that he was trying to sell me.

I look up.. this guy?s eyes roll back.. and BAM.. he hits the pavement. Falls right out of his chair. I shit you not.

CPR. The works. Nothing.

What a fucked up day. Got a new car though.

Na.. We had a Tahoe Style Denali.. not an XL Denali. The XL Denali is the same size as the Z71. Same interior too, except for the wood trim and trip computer.

ahhh. good point to note. I was thinking of a denali myself in a couple of months (currently have a loaded up extened 1/2ton Z71) just cause I wanted more seating room. Waiting for the 03s to show up - currently I've only sceen one and they wouldn't take it out of the showroom - but more will come in the next couple of months.

I'll have to watch for that, I thought denali just meant their top of the line Yukon.

trying to take away my 3 man balloon slingshot that we were firing off at the side of the school (last day of school) Once we got spotted by a teacher like 300 feet away we jumped into my car thinking we had lots of time to get away, in no time at all, he was behind my car banging on it, Like what the fuck, dont bang my car So i just sorta kept backing out intill people were freaking out, so I stopped and got out and the teacher was on a powertrip saying "if you dont give that to me right now you are going to the office blah blah blah" so I said "i guess i am going to the office" :) I got a 3 day suspension on the last day of school go figure, basically ment nothing but a glitch on the record

It was all probably a stunt to get you to sign..

I bet his closing ratio on that stunt is 100%

Those suburbans are nice, I'm trading in my Navigator as soon as the Escalade XLs are available. Everyone needs one car with a shitload a room, and I drive to Tahoe a lot, so I need good 4WD. Hell I'm there now.

I rented a navagator when I went to the maritimes this summer. I really really really liked the cooling option on the seats. That was AWESOME in the hot sun. I WISH GM had this, but they don't.

Maybe they put smaller moters in the rental navagators but I was really unimpressed with the power. My GMC 1/2 ton Z71 with a 5.3 liter moter had 2X the acceleration as the navagator did.

Yeah my pop has a denali and it looks a lot like his old 2000 Yukon. He likes it alot but god knows why he needs it? He lives on the beach in fricking Florida! LOL!

Here in the ghetto we don't buy cars, we just hot wire whats available on the street, then abandon it when we get where we are going.

Buying cars shoots the whole damn day and you just never get your shit done.

I have the 2003 GMC Yukon Denali XL with all
the bells & whistles. The Chevy version doesn't compare.
In fact, I checked out the Z71, though it was close, it simply
did not compare to the Luxury of the Denali.

The Denali is a 6.0 liter engine, kick ass! Mine is black
as well. I checked out all the large SUVs.

The Escalade was shit compared to the Denali. I think I paid
around 54k for mine give or take a thousand.

It's a nice ride, I love it. I think I will trade it in at 30k miles
and get a white one next.

Black is SO HARD TO KEEP Nice..


Oh well, the Z71 is a nice ride too.. good choice!
