Tonight: Pats VS (NY)Giants : Anybody SERIOUSLY believes in the Giants chances?

Really? In a twisted way, we'd all like to see a shocker just for the hell of it, but seriously, I don't think it's gonna happen..

In fact, my prediction for tonight is Pats by 2 touchdowns. Brady is hawt right now. The team is unbeattable this year..Too bad for the Colts...

I think its crazy that this game is going to be on THREE different networks tonite

Forest 12-29-2007 11:22 AM

I had a dream last night that the giants won....

it was only a dream LOL

The giants may not start several of their starters who are nursing injuries as this game as no significance in their playoff picture and they may be at tampa next saturday

What you're saying is right, but it's also true for the Pats...because a perfect season will be worthless if they go all the way and win the Superbowl...

I don't really believe it, but I kind of would like that...a big upset...the NY "b" team beats Brady, Moss and the Pats...but hey, we can dream as much as we want..IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN.

GAMEFINEST 12-29-2007 11:28 AM

giants have a chance if they play perfect

jaysmoke 12-29-2007 12:43 PM

sports bump

starpimps 12-29-2007 12:48 PM

im throwing down 300 giants moneyline..anything can happen
brady breaks his arm, moss breaks his leg

at 7 to 1 its like winning a scratch and win ticket if it does happen

CC 12-29-2007 12:51 PM

Well, yes, I do think the Giants have a chance. The Ravens nearly beat them and that says a lot IMO.

pornlaw 12-29-2007 12:54 PM

Giants ball control ground game and pass rush will get them past Brady and Moss.

Pats haven't been looking to strong lately. If they can get pressure on Brady, control the clock and get a few turnovers, they can upset the Pats.

So michael, you think the Giants actually have a chance? Sorry, I don't see it...The giants had an ordinary season to say the least.

I dont think 10-5 is an ordinary season. All of this is prefaced on the fact the starters play. If they can keep Brady and Moss off the field and control the ball/clock, get the pass rush going and force a couple of turnovers, any team has a chance to beat the Pats. How did the Ravens almost do it ?

The question I have is, are they serious about this game or is Coughlin just playing the press game for the league. No one wants a lame game on 3 different networks. If I were him I would sit every starter and let the backups play. There is nothing in it for them to win. Why risk the injuries ?

But knowing Coughlin, if the Giants keep it close going midway into the 2nd, they will play the whole game unless the Pats take a 21pt lead.

Either way I see this as a huge mistake for Coughlin anyway you look at it.

There's no trophies or rings for beating the Pats.

With that said -- 27-21 Giants Go Blue !!!

don't you mean 2? NFL network doesn't count... it's like a bad joke WORSE than the big 10 network

Jago Webcams 12-29-2007 03:07 PM

giants got a good pass rush, brady's weakness. i'm hoping :)

Craig T 12-29-2007 03:10 PM

"On any given Sunday" they say, does it happen on Saturday.. I think Giants could win if they had a perfect game, and things bounced their way, but short of that.... PATRIOTS 16-0 Go Pats!!!

RP Fade 12-29-2007 03:10 PM

Giants by 2 is my call :thumbsup

farkedup 12-29-2007 03:12 PM

Guys... NOBODY believes the Giants have ANY shot at the super bowl at all... for them THIS is the game of the year... If you get both All-Pro ends coming around all day long + their lineman sized Running Back and you have a mix that can give the undersized Patriots a LOT of trouble. The Patriots are a very small/fast defense that will struggle with the HUGE Brandon Jacobs who's what like around 280lbs and has insane speed for somebody so huge (watch last weeks 40yd TD run where he outrun a couple guys half his size)

mike-al 12-29-2007 03:13 PM

couple years ago, the giants were weak and came into Chicago to face the mighty Bears and decided to come out hitting like Mike Tyson & Mule Kicks
Bears were favored huge and a very much better team at the time.
Bears got knocked up and damaged very fast and NYG continued with the ultimate hitting like a hockey team for the entire game and won it no problems... If they come in with that same attitude, its good night
New England who is not going to compete at that level.. Too much at stake.

TampaToker 12-29-2007 04:01 PM

the Giants will be benching there starters early in the game. So basically they getting a free pass on this game:disgust

Buff 12-29-2007 04:06 PM

I think it depends on what the Patriots do. A perfect season would be nice, but they want the Superbowl, which means that since they have homefield already sewn up, they might rest Moss and Brady et al. Of course then the question is whether the Giants can beat the Patriots' second and third string, and the answer is maybe.

I think the Giants are going to give them a close game and might even win it, just because I think they will want it more.

Buff 12-29-2007 07:41 PM

HAHAHAHA

Look at the score. God, it gets old being right all the time. Life holds no mystery for me.
