I've already written and asked them, and they just don't respond so unfortunately I'll ask here and maybe someone has an answer.

I made a purchase with the virtual visa awhile ago. The purchase put the money on hold in my account, but was rejected for whatever reason. It was about $500, so the hold has yet to be released even though the transaction failed.

Any idea how long the money can be held in my account before the funds are released back to me?

Expect an answer 2 weeks after you sent the email.....(not kidding)

I waited a month to have funds released back for a transaction that never cleared

It's been longer than 2 weeks for this support ticket, and I have another one that's over a month. I think they're just not answering any of them anymore.

30 days or have them fax to epassporte for quicker release

30 days and don't use the virtual visa, use your CC rather, it'll save you trouble

Use your epass to get ATM cash and avoid this stuff.

If you go on a road trip and stop for gas 4 times your account will have $300 or more on hold because of pre-authorizations at the pump.

Usually 30 days, but Shaliza lifted a hold manually for me once.

Same happened to me recently, I hit up the Micheal and he forwarded request to whatever dept. and I got funds back in the account within 2-3 days.
