Question about avs sites
 

doing some this weekend for the first time, do you just build them once then leave them there...or do you have to update the content every once in a while?

I'm looking to do somethig where I can build a bunch of pages then just leave them there

Submit those sites to as many avs's as you know, make yourself a list of all AVS's that are out there and submit all of your pages/sites to those.

Works well for me.

+ some of the AVS's require that you update your sites (only when you have gold/platinum/titanium/poop sites you have to do that) but they never check... and even if they do they will hit you up and tell you you have to update, than update the damn thing and forget about it.

If you just wanna build em and forget em, no problem, build small 30-50 pic sites. The only ones that require updates are the Gold/Platinum sites which require 200-300 pics per site.

does it make a difference if I get a domain name for each one, or is it ok to put them in directories, like:

www.mysite.com/avssite1
www.mysite.com/avssite2
www.mysite.com/avssite3

It's great like that.

I personally don't worry all that much with the content once i have made the site..

I personally push more for the AVS sales rather than the upsell

The upsells are just a nice bonus.. since you know all avs members have a method of paying, and are willing to.
