What? Do you work for Cari? I would suggest anyone considering Cari do some searches on their service quality. (webhostingtalk)

NOT TO MENTION, CARI DOESNT DO ADULT. I JUST signed up a customer who was abruptly kicked off because his company name was adult based and his sites were as well.
Doesn't seem like Cari.net would fit in too well with the types of websites most people here host.

Then there's the fact that cari has NOTHING on our network :thumbsup
An example, from here in Los Angeles (where i am) pinging to Cari in San Diego, I get 60ms. Pinging to SplitInfinity also in San Diego, I get 29ms! Thats 50% higher latency to Cari.net over their super budget Wiltel (WCG) network.
If you're going to thread jack, do it with a comparable provider ;)

Cari posts on GFY all the time offering hosting, they host a few large adult sites and networks if I recall.

Spudstr 12-29-2007 08:34 AM

nevermind I read cari and thought it was Caro.

TidalWave 12-29-2007 10:05 AM

yup, it is indeed carI, and they did indeed cut him off for having adult-related sites

milan 12-29-2007 12:22 PM

Bump or a great deal.

TidalWave 12-29-2007 02:03 PM

Bump for the O/P/

FredIsMe 12-30-2007 08:38 AM

How the hell can you offer such deals?

TidalWave 12-31-2007 12:28 PM

We try our best :)
One thing to note is that we are fully profitable. These deals are NOT loss leaders. The servers are fully backed by:

- UPS (Battery Backup) & Generator Backup Power
- Leibert CRAC 20+ton units for coldddd servers
- tier-1 and premium backbones (www.pacificrack.com/network.html) giving us fantastic uptime and performance
- 24 x 7 ON-SITE technical staff -- not at a remote office, not "just a short drive away", we are ON-SITE 24 hours a day!

Try us out with a few small sites if you're worried ... I have no qualms about EARNING your trust before you risk your big sites with us. You will see we back up our talk with our walk!

wdsguy 12-31-2007 12:40 PM
