Who Runs a Content Store? Step Inside
 

I am looking for some feedback on who is running them. Either for DVD's, or their Markham wares.

I can just as easily have one custom built, but if there is one out there already with a payment gateway built in, and can handle single or multiple stores. I would be interested.

Yeah, I have not found exactly what I am looking for either. But before I posted it up for bids, I thought I would ask if someone else had found something out there.

i know there was a romanian company selling a script - but i did not make the best experiences when i had them for a custom job. OScommerce might be worth a look - and i once had a shop with this: http://www.smartstore.com/en/

Well I am looking for something that would initally handle single store content, but then I could add in other material/store/content later.

Kind of hard to explain in a sentence or two, but essentially needs to be expandable and handle 2257/video/stills, with shopping cart.

then have fun programming your own ;)

my programmer cost me so far about 50.000 euro

I also use a custom solution. Like MaDalton said, it's a large undertaking.

If you just need something simple that can handle downloadables, you could try http://www.x-cart.com/. It's pretty nice for off the shelf. I'd avoid OSCommerce.

You should contact Konrad from http://www.mechbunny.com/. He can either tweak an existing solution of code you a custom solution for just a fraction of the price mentioned in this thread. The guy does good work and is honest.:2 cents:
