Nice, I hope US lawyers find a way to make a killing. That's one way to stop copyright theft.

How long until the scammers start sending bogus letters like this to thousands of Americans to dupe them into sending in a few hundred bucks to avoid the embarrassment and cost of a possible lawsuit in regards to downloading porn...?

they have been doing it for music industry for years.

most people settle out of court and pay thru the nose to the tune of several thousand per person.

millions have been collected without the courts this way.

Imagine if it was " hardcore granny gangbang " , not "metallica" they had to go to court over downloading, chances of them settling for big $$ is alot higher.

I think it may be a great way to prevent illegal downloads to a certain extent. We are involved with something like this. Anyone interested in hearing about it icq me or email for details. I feel red lights library is worth protecting!!
