I have no life
 

I woke up this morning and realized I wasted 2 years of my life sitting in front of the computer. I have only been out twice in 2 years... this cant be good. I used to be a social person, now I cant even go to the store without feeling wierd. My girlfriend usually goes out with her friends and I always opt to stay home. I think its mostly because I moved here 2 years ago and dont know anyone.

I think I need mental help or something. Anyone else this bad?

lol you haven't necessarily "wasted" it... most people in society are sick anyways so its probably a good thing :) the only thing that matters is if you're happy. if you WANT to go out and meet others, but you feel you lack the social "skills".. then just ease your way out there. it'll always be awkward at first but once you get yourself affiliated with people u'll be fine.

hehe, and its really bad when I start using GFY for self help.

I'll let you borrow my two teen boys for a week or two.. guaranteed you won't be allowed to hermit away in front of the pc.

I guess I should clarify that I havent went out to a bar or whatnot in 2 years. I do go out hiking/biking alot, take her to dinner etc. But I havent spent time with anyone else.

With today's pharmacology, no one needs to suffer with feelings of exhaustion and depression

i know how your feeling budd! i had many many friends i used to go out and have fun with...now after 2-3 very fast years..have gone ...i realised that i have no friend that called me anymore eh ...hmm well i guess its hard to work hard and have a social life...but its a pain when you think about it !..

go to a doc and get some drugs, they will help you get started by easing the anxiety you might be feeling

Go to some mental hospital. Now it is the prime time for you to be there. You can have a lot of fun there.
