          A mostly irrelevant distinction. Remind me again what it is that you do in this industry? Half of your postcount (at least) has been gotten by posting irrelevant drivel in my threads. Do you own any sites? A program? Do you even have an adult domain? Is there any reason why you haven't been snuffed out like an unwanted cockroach yet?

              Not saying there was an exploit but. It's totally possible that his programmers didn't find an exploit when they checked it out. Software is a complicated beast and sometimes you just don't find the holes.

                          The problem i see here is that John admitted in some of his posts here that they were having problems months ago but thought it was isolated but now found out it was affecting everyone who still allowed admin access.

                          I think what John is trying to do is play semantics (cue Baddog), just like Lars and co. did with the whole no its not spyware its adware. It sounds like to me that John is saying their is no "exploit" because he doesn't call what happened an "exploit" or "hack" but a " compromised password list". Personally I dont think it makes much of a difference if you call it shit on a stick if it has the same effects than it is what it is.

                          By him basically saying they are not having problems publicly but they knew that they had had or were having problems is what makes it look bad on their part no matter what he wants to call it.
