All things being equal, tours, content, traffic source..
Why would one AVS convert much better than a number of others ?

Then, if identified that there is a specific reason that one will convert better than others with all things being equal.. shouldn't that AVS convert better overall for all future AVS sites then ? If not, what could make the difference ?

Perceived value I think. I can convert a premium AVS much, much easier than a free one. I don't even bother with free ones much anymore except to get a bit of traffic.

Lets say comparing:
Sexkey, FreeNetPass and SexyPass

Same traffic, same tour, content, etc..
If Sexypass converts best then could there be any other reasons for it besides the processor ?

One thing that seems to make a difference is the clarity of the terms. At Sex Key, the terms are very clear and the surfer knows exactly what to expect. Things are a bit murkier at some other places.

Well sexyavs pays 5.00 more.. so the others would have to convert 35% better than sexyavs.

I assume for the sake of the discussion you are also talking real FREE Avs's?

You have to take into account, the "freshness" of an AVS system
FNP / Sexkey have been around for ages, so a lot of the surfers you are targetting have one.

Whereas Sexy Avs / Naked Pass are relatively new, therefore they would convert better.

Put out identical sites, force similar traffic to it, and im 100% sure thats what you will see ;) .. well thats what i have seen!

and payout is definitely a big incentive! .. but I'm talking about just conversions and would the biggest reason for a conversion based on the factors I mentioned be the processor ?

Twisty mentioned clearer terms being a factor too. I don't personally think the freshness is a big factor against higher conversions.. I think recognition can be a larger positive influence in conversions.

see if you are talking the real FREE avs's.. then surfer doesnt get the suprise that their card is NOW being charged $39.99. On the real free, there is a legitimate 3 day $0.00 trial.

There are plenty of fake free ones that have fooled me, up until you enter your card info etc.. then you see the whopping free charge : )


Most of the real free avs's use ccbill. We use ccbill with jettis backup. So the rest is just the join process and the presentation of the join form.

But there is also going to be some surfers that are going to come to your site and already have certain avs passes or be able to easily get them. Were if you are new, they are a lil harder to find :)

sexy avs is somehow inconsistant in sales - i did not send traffic, but i had sales, so i decided to send all my traffic there, which resulted in less sales.... :( but i like sexy avs a lot, i have used it since "sexyavs" posted it here on gfy....
