Which Programs received the benefit of the NATS hack?
 

I know a number of people mentioned they had unique emails stolen from the various nats programs that were hacked and that were spammed. So I'm curious which programs benefited from those stolen lists?

I'll be able to tell you in a month or so. I always use unique emails when I sign up for a sponsor.

I have been wondering the same damn thing, what is the sites that are being spammed in these emails.

This industry is one of the greediest industries in the world.

Just got an email sent to the address I used for hollywood traffic. It was spamming the URL

nesterovnarkis1851.blogspot.com/?werebentwerzporpythpewtfieldburns

That redirects to a fake tgp with links going to python.

not surprised.

Also got a similar email to the address I used for jman cash.

Also goes to a fake tgp that goes to a python site.

this is the question I asked three days ago - there is a trail and nobody seems to be following up on the trail.

thanks Babaganoosh - you're the first - you signed up to a program with a unique email address and how many spam emails have you received at that email address? just one seems weird

If I had been religious about tracking this shit, I could probably say that these programs have been getting this traffic for months... But I haven't tracked it that religiously.. However.. When I do check.. I typically find the same sponsors all the time.

There are numerous spams to both addresses. I just started with the emails that were automatically moved to the spam folder over the last couple of days. The spams have been coming in over several days.

I just found an email from Oct. 10th of this year to the jman cash address I used. That proves that their email list was compromised way before this issue ever became public.

Also, whoever used jmc1320 AT yahoo.com to sign up to jmc I keep seeing your address in the cc field.

platinumbucks and python names so far... not surprused so far.

Wouldn't it be funny if he just spammed everyone else he hacked? So in essence all the sponsors that got hacked got sales from the ordeal? Kind of like a mailing service he performed for NATS user/members. :1orglaugh
