VeriSexy 12-24-2007 07:28 AM

must be a typo

Ross 12-24-2007 07:33 AM

Looks like an expensive part of London or something. Still tho, it can't have cost more than $3 million so 128K a month is rediculous.

Ross 12-24-2007 07:34 AM

Ah its in Wimbledon. Expensive place to live but for that money I'm pretty sure you could get a mortgage for millions! Why would you rent that?

sj_swank 12-24-2007 07:37 AM

hmmm.....i must be in the wrong family

SomeCreep 12-24-2007 07:49 AM

Thats current and is about right, £340,000/$680,000 for a detached house, it could be a little 2-3 bedroom so its still a lot of money.
The houses your posting are from the exclusive parts of Wimbledon where only people like me can afford the housing, and only many Polish combined can afford the rent.

st0ned 12-24-2007 11:07 AM

You have got to be kidding me? I wouldn't pay 128k to OWN that house.

Then you would be an idiot, considering the amount such houses go up in value each year.

I could really care less what YOU or anyone else would do. I would NOT buy that piece of shit house. :2 cents:

Peaches 12-24-2007 02:30 PM

If it's during the tournament that would make perfect sense. Same thing happens here in Augusta during the Masters. In fact, the IRS changed their tax code based on rentals for the Masters. If you only rent your house out 14 days a year or less, you don't pay taxes on the income <------ or something similar for those of you who are going to take the time to look it up to prove I stated it wrong ;)

Yeah, and I can buy a lot of property in Watts rather inexpensively . . . doesn't mean it is a good idea.

That would get you about 3 weeks in the private cabanas at the Rio Suites Hotel and Casino or 1 night free if you lose it all at the tables.
