Anyone here have experience with micro-niching?

How can I tell if theres a need for some very specific content that's not being made or hard to find?

Like pissing grannies, ebony legs or teen bondage.

I'm hooking up with a video producer who is going to show me how to create vids that I can mass produce and sell but it will be expensive so I dont know if it's worth it to do micro niche content, or if you're just better off doing reg content.

In the end I'm thinking of making a paysite out of what I make, or maybe just selling it as content.

Worth it or a waste of time?

I know I would buy balloon fetish videos if they were done right !

:)

The overall demand for such content might be small but the guys that like that stuff will buy. The more micro the niche the better.

Yeah, its rough around the back of the head but after you get the hang ouf it, its quite simple.

I'd have to say worth it, but that's only because it's all I've ever done. That is to say, I've never gone into the mainstream hard core market and don't plan to. Most of my work as a producer has been in sub-niche categories and it's made me a living.

However, you do have to be very familiar with a specific niche in general if you expect to make money in within a (possibly unexplored) sub-topic of it. It probably wouldn't be wise to get into "pissin' grannies" unless you were thoroughly versed in the geriatric market as well as water sports to begin with. Cross-niche content can be a great idea, but only if you have a handle on both of the niches to begin with and could expect to pull a percentage from both followings.

With that said, there's money to be made by sensing any unfulfilled content need on the Internet, no matter how narrowly defined. Just figure no competition (at first!) and a higher price because of the uniqueness or rarity of the content.

But, of course, stay within the areas that are a turn on for you- most niches have a mind set that is almost impossible to cater to successfully unless you're into it yourself.

five eyes has made some very good points. i could not have said it more clearly. all i can add is an example. some content producers try to sell, lets say, smoking content. BUT they neglect to include exhalation pics. a cigerette in a hand that you can barely see in a foot to head shot isn't going to cateer to the niche, if that is all there is.

BBW is another great example of that. So many content producers and sponsors think they can shove a 400lb huge trog up and people will wanna look at it and/or join. It's hard to get the good fairly plump, attractive girls which many are after.
