He did it to show, that a lot of businesses/people where you voluntary give them your personal infos, do NOT take the proper actions to insure integrity/security of your data.

It's not like this was ANYTHING special. You could find the data very easily... and while I might not agree with him... I found another list of this kind and did not post it here, because of what happened with him. So you guys will never know what data I had access to.

Some might not agree with full disclosure, but sometimes it's what is needed to make people realize/take action.

Ya he thinks it a big funny ha ha joke that he posted passwords, he made a reference to it once like it was funny, but I am too lazy to find it. He needs to get his ass kicked.

The irony is that Minusonebrain's bonehead move of linking to the passwords and personal information of people in this industry only served to worsen the very problem he's whining about.

It's not his fault that these people are too stupid to follow basic security proceedings. My password wasn't on that list for some reason.

Hell, if I had that list, I would have made it public too just to teach these idiots a lesson that Internet is serious business.

The fucking guy leaked the user name, password and all personal info of over 300 webmasters, leading to some epassporte accounts beeing emptied.

It is funny.

I laugh out loud at idiots who come to GFY and whine that their account "got hacked"

Get a brain, morons or go flip burgers.

I never said it was his fault, just merely pointed out the irony of someone who is constantly paranoid and whining about his personal info being exposed then turns around and perpetuates the exposure of many people's personal info.

You see in the thread from TMM where he's saying things like he's going to do his part to make sure TMM is held accountable? Or, and even funnier yet, that he's going to personally contact all the affiliate programs he uses and demand they change away from NATS. Can you believe this idiot actually thinks anybody here for one second believes he has anything more than a few hits a day never mind serious pull with any affiliate programs? What a joke! Yeah, you're writing blog posts for literally pennies last month and now you're ballin'! Bahahahaha it's amazing the quality of complete idiots we get around this place.

seeric 12-22-2007 07:28 PM

yah, EVEN i think he's braindead beyond any need to be convinced further. i think he's delusional. it takes a lot for me to think you're a total tool and unsaveable. i think LC may actually have a brighter future than onebit.

I tried to fix it 2 years ago... I got no where because program owners think they have millions because they are smarter than hackers. They will get owned. And owned enough they might succumb to the reality that they are not Gods, and far from it.
