I fucking hate movies with kids in them
 

Kids cant act and shouldnt be in movies unless its movies made for kids.
They take the reality out of a movie. When i watch a good flick i dont want to realize all the time someone cant act.

Come on.... Jurassic Park rocked.... those dinosaurs are very believable!! That kid getting his hand stuck in the electric fence was VERY good acting!

For the most part I agree, but there are a few exceptions. Check out "the Devil's Backbone" for one where the kids don't ruin it.

Maybe it helped because there were not english speaking.

Now that you mention it, it is hard to think of a good movie where they kids don't ruin it. The movie "Kids" is another good one off the top of my head.

I bet there are more bad adult actors than child actors..

I used to work in auditions for movies filmed in vancouver. I wish I could release some of the tapes.. comedy gold.

Hmm, Jodie Foster in Taxi Driver as a teenage prostitute was good. OK, that is about it.

I don't mind kids in movies, I just mind kid movies. And they're everywhere now. When I was a kid, there were maybe two movies a year that targetted children specifically--generally they were about volkswagen bugs with personalities and/or talking animals. Today, 5 new G-rated movies premier a week. Obviously, from a business perspective it makes complete sense, but it's still annoying.

I actually thought Jaden Smith (Will Smiths Son) acting with his Father Will Smith, in the movie The Persuit of Happieness was a great combo..

I love that movie alot.. I do agree with some kids in movies..

yeah he did pretty good but look at his pedigree... You have a less racist/more talented denzel as a dad so you're virtually a can't miss when you get older. Acting ability runs in families.

I agree with you for 99.9% of the movies I've seen. Then again I don't even like kids in real life.
