Google and Adwords Ban

OK.. I got banned like 4 months ago when google went gaga over teen porn concepts... I had just about every site imaginable on Adwords so of course some of them were things like Exploited Teens and shit...

Everything is on auto pilot and I never look at the shit... Then one day I notice my traffic disappears... I go into my account and all of my shit is turned off. So I contact Google and they tell me they sent me messages and I never did anything about them so now I am banned. Great.

So I go to a friends house, use my GF's credit card that has NOTHING to do with me or my address and sign back up. Everything looks normal. Just waiting for it to start sending traffic. No traffic comes... So I go back to his house and send them an Email asking WTF in nicer terms.

They tell me that they know it is me... Ohh and I am promoting a website that I have never promoted before. Different affiliate program than before. Nothing in the URL is like anything I ever did there.

How in the fuck did they figure out it was me?

And has anyone been banned and successfully created a new account?

V_RocKs 12-22-2007 04:46 AM

Why bring this up weeks after trying?

Rebills, baby!

I made a few grand in rebills each month since the ban... So I am pretty fucking happy I used revshare on my Adwords account.

Turboface 12-22-2007 04:48 AM

What was the site?

If you want to try our ad network, 'teen' is one of the categories.

V_RocKs 12-22-2007 04:53 AM

What ad network?

Google is cracking down harder on advertisers using adult/porn sites on AdWords. Ive tried to set up campaigns where I can clearly see someone else bidding on the same term, but my ads get knocked down. I even have a rep at Google that can take care of most stuff, but he says they wont budge on a lot of this.

I have even sent traffic to mature/old sites and still get the axe

It's been years now....companies have people on the inside. I think its pretty obvious at this point.

How long do you think it would take someone to insert an employee?

The answer is....about this long. :1orglaugh

It depends on the KIND of site. I have use AdWords on adult before in the past, and never had an issue.

They are Google! They have cameras everywhere! They know all!

$tandaman 12-22-2007 02:50 PM

I've been having same exact problem, use exact same wording to get a campaign approved, and they keep denieing it for teen porn concepts.. what pain in the ass.

If only they explained what exactly is the problem.. there is nothing teen in the wording.

In my experience if the landing page has the word 'teen' anywhere on it they'll pull your ad. However, last time this happened I complained to them because the page was clean and they apologised and reactivated my campaign.

They also look at the landing page. If you are trying to promote http://www.videosexperts.com/ you are giong to have trouble for sure

blogman9 12-23-2007 02:09 AM

LOL yeah of course, and tomorrow is easter :)

HeadPimp 12-23-2007 07:15 AM

They are the mighty Google and have indexed your brain. Did you forget to add your no robots file?

Personally I find Google's ads a pain to work with on any count. I just got an ad denied on a mainstream project because 'you can't use the url as advertising'. WTF, it is the url of the site.... Bastards...

MrPinks 12-23-2007 08:56 AM

Ahhh I forgot to put NOT in there, lol.

I had the same problem, pulled all my domains and parked them somewhere else. Got an email a couple days later saying my domains were now ok if I wanted to move them back lol
