Well honestly, it has gone too far. A lot of it is damaging to him personally. He's doing this to make sure it doesn't keep going and really turn out nasty.

This isn't about them damaging him by spreading "lies", he is just pissed that someone is selling a book that's probably going to make a good chunk of change and he has been left out of the picture entirely.

I don't know, but I think if someone sold a book entirely about me and I never received a single penny from it, I would probably unleash the lawyers too.

Most likely there will be an out of court settlement and the book will continue to be published and they will both be happy.
