I went to school in DC during the 1999 IMF meetings and the protests that went along with them. Shut down the school for three days. The streets were filled with smelly ignorant hippies. It was disgusting. The beat downs were pretty cool though.

I went down to watch a couple years ago. They didn't arrest as many, but they got pretty rough. A lot of people get crazy, and it's only blocks from the White House, Treasury, Capitol Building, etc. etc. They close down the Metro (subway) to a lot of the areas...and if you're doing anything other than walking around, they're probably taking you to jail.


They really just aren't going to allow you to go nuts in the heart of DC. I think most people realize that before they go down there.

The only good thing these "neo-commies" are good for is for destroy things and i mean not those middle class bored fuckers from the US only... they are lazy rats everywhere you find them, in France, in Argentina, in Brazil...

I wonder why they dont use that energy to build micro-communities where the workers in grey suits rule! yeah, i wonder why not?

I laugh at those protesters. While I'm here watching it on CNN, I'm making more money than I have ever made in my life (today is a record day for sales for me).

You might also remember that if it wasn't for commie-hippie-liberals fighting with police, black people in America might still be second class citizens.

Like it or not, those people, the vast majority of whom are non violent protestors, are what America is all about. They believe in something (whatever the fuck it is this time) and they're out trying to change the country. If they cross the line, of if the cops are being cocks, then they will get arrested. Otherwise, they are protected by the constitution.

If you don't like protestors, why don't you move to Iraq or China? You sound like you would probably fit right in. :)
