What's the longest amount of time you've gone without eating?
 

If you include the time you're sleeping I'd say I've gone 72 hours once when I had the flu. I drank fluids and that's about it.

When I was not sick I have gone without eating for 22 hours. It was a lazy Sunday and I my body felt full the entire day for some reason.

72 hours? That would be impossible for me :)

24hrs is the longest ive gone. I dont care how sick i am, ill eat something. 72 hours is crazy

Human body can go as long as three weeks without food.... three days without water and three minutes without oxygen :)

I've gone 4 days without any type of sustenance and then 3 weeks just drinking 2 Boost meal replacements a day. I had jaw surgery and had my teeth wired shut... the first 4 days I was on too much pain medication and in too much pain to care about eating!

I'll go on the occasional 24-hour fast.

Not often, though.

I went 72 hours once when the jackass I was hiking with accidently dumped the bag with the food in it into the fucking river we were crossing.

By the way, catching fish with your bare hands in a quick moving stream is harder than it sounds like it would be.

I've gone three days a few times.

8 hours, no food and water during a connecting flight in Japan.

Probably about half a day when I was hiking. Of course I was a kid then so I had more endurance.

about 48 hours or a bit more.. after i got my appendix removed... i was a few hours in surgery + 12 hours without food before the surgery + I slept another 12 hours after the surgery...

One week and I don't suggest it. :warning When I was in the ICU back in July they wouldn't even let me have ice chips.. when I walked out AMA I was so weak....

Well not sure if this counts but i had my jaw wired shut for 2 months back in my teens, was on liquid diet during that time so no solids at all.

is drinking included .. cause i have gone days on benders as a kid .. 4 day one time fore sure with no solid meal..... .. glad to be done with that...

I went 3 days in Indonesia after really bad food poisoning. I only could drink fluids. Fuck me was i sick lol
