help on avs sites
 

i decided a few months ago to try to make some money with avs sites but i'm having trouble getting traffic.

I'm getting about 100 hits a month from various avs link trades and about 400 from search engines.

Does anyone know some good ways to get some substantial traffic to an AVS site? please don't say TGP's, I can't afford the bandwidth.....

Do more link trades, or set up a free site with a few promo galleries and use that as a hub for all your link trades. (Some webmasters don't like to exchange links with AVS sites, so this is a good way to get around that and still get traffic to your AVS).

I would suggest linking all your AVS sites to one another. Perhaps a separate page that is linked off of your main page, entitled Sex Links or something similar. This should increase your search engine rankings and create significant circle jerk traffic within your network of sites.

Why not use TGP's? Many still accept free hosts.

Also why not build AVS sites daily? You'll eventually end up with very good traffic if you submit to enough AVS systems.

those are all very good ideas, i think tipsy is right, i do need more of them than just a few.......i think i have 6 total right now.

do you guys think it's a bad idea to use a new domain for each site? it seems to do better for search engine traffic but that's getting quite expensive.....maybe i could keep my costs down a little bit if used one domain for all my avs sites

also, do you guys make multiple avs fronts for the same site, is that a good strategy to harness as much traffic as possible from each avs link list?

Why not use one domain and build a thousand sites on it? Have the root be a Premium site. Then build feeders like a mad man! If you don't know, a feeder is a regular AVS site that promotes the Premium site.

So you have the Premium. Then you organize your domain so the feeders are easy for you to find. Build these feeders and each one submit them to 27 link lists (so 3 mirrored index pages with 9 recips each) then 9 toplists. Link to the Premium site during the tour, and promote the Premium inside the members section to upsell current members.

With this setup you'll be able to sell the regular AVS memberships and upsell the recurring Premium.

I agree with FreeNet Pass Steve. The more "doorways" to your Elite/Premium site the more feeder traffic you will generate from the AVS links list to promote your money site. If you would like hit me up on ICQ #167363932 and I can show you some more ways to maximize your traffic.

AVS is the way to go. Not only is it the best way to keep minors out of your sites it gives you the best conversions on anything you are upselling! If you are upselling sponsors or your premium sites you can expect to see ratios of 1:30 or less on average.

You can't beat that!

If you really need more good info on AVS go to http://www.avslounge.com they have a great AVS focused board and visit the boards on all the major avs sites. All of them are very helpful.

Move your domain over to our freehosting.. I have wide open servers that I am paying ffor bandwidth on.. I will host you free, no banners, etc..

You can then promote your avs site however you like.

I think 10 AVS sites per domain would be good. Plus 10-20 galleries or free sites. 20 AVS seems like too much, but I bet some people do 20, 25, or 30 per.

I do up to 500 per domain when really in the flow as SE's still pick them up and they get traffic and pass sales but the main criteria is usally gold/premium upsells and 500 to a premium site is a reasonable number. If your chucking out feeders by the dozen different domain names are uneconomic and will only bring in a tiny percentage more of traffic.

Snowpimp, you can have as many ACS sites per domain as you want, for SE purposes, build several niche hubs or linklist at top level on your domains and then link all your hubs to one central hub with all the niche's.

To get more traffic, quality traffic from TGP's, use smaller niche TGP's. Also get yourself on linklists, try some paid advertising, keep trading traffic etc.. andmost importantly, build more AVS sites on several AVS systems. ok, i wanted to show you guys where i'm at so far since you've all been so helpful. sorry it took me over a week but i have a weekday job at GR so I can only do this stuff on weekends. Anyway, I bought www.avsnow.com and i added all my avs sites on there. Next, I have to go add a link back to avsnow on all of them to get it some traffic. so far so good....except i need a button!:helpme

i'm also in the process of creating my first premium avs site <a href="http://www.avsnow.com/allrussianteens/members.html">here</a> I have the members area pretty much done, but I need some help making a good tour, what kind of tours work well and are simple to make? (you can see the kinds of 5 tours i've done in the past)

Next comes feeder sites and search engine optimization, did i forget anything?

PornWolf - i checked out your site and it's great stuff, i got so many ideas for projects within the first 5 minutes of surfing it, i haven't even had time to say hi on the board yet....but thanks for making such a great resource, lots of good money making stuff on there!

Tipsy - any advice on cranking out 500 avs sites??? perhaps some examples might give me an idea of how I should proceed to make that many. I can make 500 galleries pretty easy, but 500 sites seems like a lot to me but I'd really like to try.
