do you charge per project or per hour?

I charge per hour on tiny projects, but would go with the client's budget if its anything bigger. There too many ways to go with a software solution. I could always charge less and cut on some features, that would require much more time for development, but eventually wouldn't be of critical importance. I always backup my loyal clients by giving them more / charging them less than in the initial project.

I concider myself the non ripping off type :)
