Anyone using Sorenson Squeeze?
 

I need to convert 20 scenes from .wmv to .flv (flash) format. I just bought Sorenson Squeeze and it works great but I am not sure what format and compression settings I should choose.

My .wmv files are around 200Mb and I want my .flv files to be somewhere around that size to. I want to keep the quality as high as possible.

Anyone who can give some advice on what format and compression settings I should choose? Is there some standard settings that should be used?

you can keep the quality and have half the size in flv... sorenson works well... flash works decent for converting... depends on your movie quality...

as far as settings go... for flv

I use a custom setting... 1000 kbps 1 pass size settings... thats for high def widescreen vids I was processing...

by no means am I pro, but thats what Ive done and have been pleased....your best bet is to just process a couple and get it down according to your content and preference ...

The sorensson codec is really crap compared to on2's vp6.

www.on2.com they have a windows based encoder that comes up with *MUCH* better looking files with smaller filesizes.
