bestbuy dont know when its going to be released, im pretty sure a friend linked me the bestbuy page a long time ago and it said it would be released at some odd date also

Looks pretty shitty actually. If they could have got this out in decent form before Half Life 2 it might have been pretty cool. The old original trailer looked like it had a lot of promise back when it was originally released. Unfortunately that was years ago.

Dude ... I don't think you realise what's happened here ... that release date is a crock of shit. They're just trying to get your cash. 3D Realms, the company who makes the game have said it will be done when it's done. NO release date. This is a scam by BestBuy and anyone else who puts a release date up. A lie. They have no source to get this info from. They're putting up ... 'projected' dates ... it's all lies to get your money.

Sorry, but this issue fucks me off a lot. Retailers do it all the time. They decide when a product is going to come out, based on ... ZERO information ... and then take your cash.

Take the Nintendo Wii for instance ... Preorders were taken on that before release date's officially came from Nintendo ... then when the system hit shelves (on a different date I might add), a lot of people found they couldn't have a system, because when the retailer took preorders, they hadn't even had figures from Nintendo. This has happened with Sony and MS systems too and many other products.

Gah. Sorry ... just annoys me.

Honestly, I hope DNF never gets released, just for the sake of the developers. It's better and less embarassing as vaporware.

You completely contradicted what was presented. In other words, you chose your words poorly.

Had you said "They actually don't have a release date, Best Buy is just making that up" then perhaps I'd believe you. But you didn't.

lol I loved the old duke nukem. Dial into someone else's pc to play against them lol. Or we used to play it over the school network until the principle found out. Atleast we able to play a few months.

That shit was fun with some of the custom maps out there.

I saw the demo today... looks funny! I REALLY loved the 3D when that came! Played it all the time, and made my own maps and stuff! Damn I spent much time with that game. Tipped those strippers all the time to watch them flash their tits... lol
