people who hate tattoos on girls: why do you hate them so much?

For me personally I've always found them to be unsightly and makes the girl trashy-looking...at least the big-assed ones some girls have. If they're done tasteful and understated there are examples of where I've found it okay and at times even sexy.

Those larger ones across the lower back aka "tramp stamp" I find to be ridiculous. So many girls have them now it's as if getting one isn't setting you apart, it's about you conforming to the MAJORITY. It's become a cliche, as has the belly ring. :D

How does a tattoo make a woman look better? It doesn't.

For me its not about whether she has tattoo's or not. It's about the tattoo itself. Nothing wrong with a nicely done modest size piece of ink in a nice location. But the location and style of tattoo's these days are insanely bad.

First off, anyone who gets a so called "tramp stamp" above their ass is, well, a tramp.

Second..... Why would you want to mark something so beautiful with ink? Why put a fucking shamrock on your ass? Because your Irish? I'm Irish, and I surely don't need a tat on my ass where no one can see it to be proud I'm Irish.

I just don't get tats. The only reason I can see it is if you believe in something so much that you'll believe in it until the day you die. And today's youth just doesn't get that.

Because I have yet to hear a logical reason to get a tattoo or other body modification. Sorry guys, but sticking ink under my skin is not smart. And to say it "says/means" something, well sure what it says is you are:
insecure or
like attention (probably because you are insecure) or
gullible (duh everyone has one so I do too) or
some other equally boring reason

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that they don't like them because they don't like tattoos.

The only time ANYBODY male OR female should get a tat is when it MEANS something like a special forces tat that they'll be proud of doing until the day they die. Any other time it just looks retarded. Maybe if you're proud of going to prison some prison ink might be good.... Like if you SHOT hilary Clinton and went to prison for killing her THAT would be a proud reason for going to prison...

to be honest, i really don't know why but i hate girls who has tats and those girls that are smoking.

I think some tats look good, and some look bad. But, in my experience with girls that get tats is that they do it for themselves, not to make themselves more attractive to other people. Agreed that sometimes they look like shit, but as long as they are happy with it, why should should anyone else's opinion matter?

There are a number of really hot looking redheaded content models with alabaster skin that seeing a tattoo on them just ruins it for me. :(

Some tattoos just make a woman look marked up, dirty... like she needs to be scrubbed in the shower or something. And so many tattos are scratchy and bad. I personally love tattooed women, but when the artwork is poorly executed or just ugly, well it's a real turnoff.

Originally, tattoos were a symbol of virility and courage in most traditional societies (Maoris, native Americans, African tribes, etc.). They have also been associated for a long time with criminals, soldiers, seamen, warriors, etc. Some people might still associate tattoos with virility in their subconscious.

Could it be a possible reason?

PS: Some tattoos, however, are very attractive in my opinion (i.e: bottom of the back).

My opinion is that I think tattoos are cool on guys and sexy on women. Sure some people get them for attention and if you find those people annoying well you're easy to spot it when you know that person. It's society and the close minded thinking that makes it difficult for a person to express themselves. But that's life because everybody judges the book by the cover at some time or another. I guess that's a reason some people get inked up where nobody will normally see it in public.

Your body is your vessel and you'll probably live until your 60 so fuck it, do whatever you want. Pierce it up, tattoo yourself, even color your hair pink if you want, but have a good time without endangering others. Who gives a shit in the end? Nobody.

I dated a girl with tats and let me tell you.. she put the tramp in tramp stamp, but she was a good fuck thats why i kept her and ended up marrying her and having three kids, jk on the marry part and kids part, i dumped her ass. But i feel that marking your body with a pointless or even meaningful art is not the best idea, i am against them

Sometimes a girl is flawless, and getting a tattoo is just creating a flaw. Lots of girls are just more stunning without them.

Show a girl with tattos then show me a pic of her without. I can 100% gurantee that the girl willl NOT look LESS attractive without the tatoos. I hear plenty of guys say "man she'd look better without all those tatoos" I never heard a guy say about a girl without tatoos "She's ugly, but if she had tattoos she'd be hot"

my body my life. I got tattood for myself not for anyone else. I do not regret being a tattood woman and wear my ink with pride. I am not a tramp, I just live a different lifestyle than the average person. Most of my friend male and female are tattood head to toe literally. It's definitely a choice, the choice is not for everyone but I dont live everyones life I live my own.

to each his own. not every tatto is appealing but i hate it when people label some one to be a tramp. look outside the box and try to apprecaite the beauty of something different

Usually, when a chick gets a tattoo, it's something dumb that doesn't look right. Like my gf's friend has about 4-5 Grateful Dead bears holding hands, tattooed across her stomach. Let's just say, that after a couple kids, they look like Grateful Dead raisins now.

the best argument against getting a visible tattoo is because of it's economic and social consequences.

2. high fashion
3. medicine
4. research
5. academia
6. high level media
7. ANY serious, professional, high income mainstream business opportunity.

etc etc.

doesn't matter what they look like.

for a beautiful girl to adorn herself with tattoos is just about the most stupid thing she can do.

statistically, it will limit her mating choices, and it will limit her income and social mobility.

and that is not my opinion, that is a fact.
