Wake up! You health insurance is now just a loan!
Based on this situation your company health plan is just a loan where you pay the interest every month before you get injured.
http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com...ctimsCash.aspx In other words, you pay the monthly premium so they will pay for your health care but they can make you pay for the health care yourself if you win a settlement against the negligent party that caused your injury. |
I guess the solution is to sue for twice as fucking much now.

Health Care is the number one issue in the United States. The news media outlets are turning a deaf ear to the issue.
Health care is a right! |
It has been like that since the 50's, what's the big surprise

It isn't surprising. She just should have sued for more money. That was her lawyers fault (since she is a vegetable now.)
|
If you win a settlement you also have to pay your attorney out of you share

insurance has been a scam since day 1, forget about now. You pay, so you are covered, but if you don't have any problems, you don't get paid back.

Insurance is a pyramid scheme just like modern banking and real estate. :upsidedow

If you have something really bad happens to you its more then a loan.

Same shit where I used to drive. No one ever knew it until it happened to them.
We used to sue for way more than was considered normal because of this. |
This has been in effect for at least 20+ years. When I was in an accident and sued the driver we sued (and won) for 3X the medical bills. Insurance got back what they paid and I got the rest.
After just going through some major medical shit and so far getting $160K in bills (and they're still coming) you can bet your ass I'm DAMNED glad I have health insurance :) Right now out of that $160K I'm paying less than $1K. It is amazing though going through my bill - IV water costs more than almost any other drug they gave me. I guess it's because of the drought here in GA ;) Oxygen was over $800 a day. I need to get into the selling of water and air business.......... |
