if you could go back in time......when/where would you go and what would you do?

speaking of time travel. have any of you guys seen the movie . Donnie Darko ? I saw it twice recently and its a really good movie, very in depth and it deals w/ time travel and fate. www.donniedarko.com excellent website as well.

Too complex a question, I want to see and live it all. Time travel would be the ultimate.

If I could only travel back once, I'd have to think about it some more. But if this wasn't a big deal and I could do it as often as I like, I'd probably start by going back to yesterday and buying/selling a shitload of stocks, playing the lottery, etc.

Anytime in the recent past. I need modern medicine, sanitized water and a computer. Really.

I'd gamble a lot and become a prophet for a new world religion. I'd also pick my favorite sports teams with greater wisdom.

My biggest fears would be the possible constant headaches from the Deja Vu experience and of course, the high probability of failure in starting a new religion. My backup plan is to start a psychic hotline or a sports hotline.

I just watched that the other day. They did some pretty cool effects to merge the car from landing to actually driving on the street. Some neet street posts hid the 2 different images, and I never noticed it the first 1000 times I watched it.

I'd go back in time and murder the person who invented time travel.

Near as I can remember it would be because all simultaneous universes are coexisting on the same time axis, and there are infinite amount of universes all coexisting. Even the slightest shift in anything results in a new universe running parallel to ours. This means that there are infinite probabilties for the structure of a universe and so you would be changing a new one when you went back in time, because it would branch out to new possible universes.

Quite simple really. But I can't believe that time "travel" will ever be possible anytime soon because it would require transcending dimesions to a multi-axis linear state while still remaining structurally stable through a lower multi-axis state.

But I'd go back and see my own birth.

It would be so weird...

Go back to 1970, buy 4 tons of Panama Red, bring it back to now, and retire ...
