VAN HALEN at Staples Center - Friday night - the start of a perfect weekend
 

Between that show Friday, plus golf and the Mansion party on Saturday plus as a bonus, my Dolphins FINALLY won a game... it turned out to be an awesome weekend!!!

Who was there besides me? I though it was a great show and the best I have seen VH in many years. Even Roth was a true pro, and Eddie's guitar tone was amazing and his chops are back.

Michael didn't "go with Sammy". He did a few shows. It's pretty fucking petty of Eddie to be so pissy about it he needed to fuck the guy out of the tour.

I think it is lame that Michael Anthony was not part of it but who knows how those guys all feel about each other. Wolfgang played very well but the guy seems to have the personality of a turd.

Saw VH with Dave and Sammy at the Forum during the 80s. I don't think I'd go now if someone bought me a ticket. Eddie's antics over the years caused me to lose all interest. Fat ass Wolfgang trying to replace Michael Anthony - what a joke. The bass playing is only part of it - the vocal harmonies can't be reproduced.

They were here last week..heard nothing but positive replies about their performance..not the same without Anthony though

I have to ask, how was it with the chubby kid playing bass? Was he singing too? Did the crowd cheer him or were they laughing at him? The pics look kinda hilarious....all these old skinny dudes and this young fat kid. My husband and I are amused by Wolfy.

the van halen brothers fired him way before the tour.when they werent playing and he was playing with sammy.so they got pissed off he was playin with sammy.
