Since you asked, man - I wouldn't ever put myself in that hypothetical like you did without a qualification that your statement lacked.. i.e. "if I were the kind of person to break into people's accounts, I might also be apt to pick up large chunks of change I see laying around..." but, unless I'm mistaken, you didn't do that until after the fact.
