For those who have doubts about Cathy Beardsley...
 
Unfortunately in this industry there are people who make false statements for their own gain or with other wrongful motives. Unfortunately, this can lead to dramatic wrongful damage to someone's reputation as can be seen here in the thread regarding our recent acquisition: http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showthread.php?t=791375

A lot of the damage done to Cathy's reputation was done by the comments of one individual. You will notice in the document below that many of the things you hear about her are mentioned. This is because this is where they originated. This person took it upon himself to attack Cathy and her reputation. He both posted these things publicly and spoke of them in private.

I would like to present you with his retraction of these statements and I hope you realize the severity of such actions when they are made without basis. As I've said, Cathy is a good and honorable person who has been put through a lot and taken the fall for other less honorable people. I would not be working with her if I felt otherwise.

I hope someday the full story of Ibill comes out. I still don't understand why they were unable to obtain a new merchant accounts after losing the one with First Data.

John it all comes down to this Cathy came to ibill with Garret Bender ibill CEO, they had worked at worldcom together for years. Bender got the ibill CEO job and picked Cathy to go with him. After working with Bender for several more years at ibill, Bender leaves ibill then Cathy was named president. How can you say that she didn't know what was going on over there. She obviously was tight with Bender, the CEO. She worked for him at a previous job and he gave her a new job at ibill. She then replaced him. I don't believe that she was in the dark knowing now the type of relationship she had with Bender and how far back this goes. Then she was named CEO and then well we seen were that lead.

Now you make this announcement and Cathy will be assisting you and some other ex ibill employees.. I disagree with you about the VP and CEO comment about not knowing whats going on. A GOOD VP and CEO knows exactly whats going on. How could she not know, she had known and worked with/for Bender for 10+ years.

You admit you and your partner have little knowledge of the biller side and you will be working with people who have a very iffy track record. I am really surprised you are getting into the processing side this way. Me personally i have heard nothing bad about you and no reason to. We run NATS on our back end and will continue to do. As in using your processing not a chance in hell. Not because of you but because of the other people involved. I learn from other people mistakes and i wont be following suite. I will be following this closely and i hope for your sake and reputation you know what you are doing.

As of right now you our absolutely correct. Truth is you don't know the truth either just what you have been told. The only ones who really know our the ones that was involved. All we can do as outsiders is make a educated decision based on info that we have available and go from there. John don't take this personal its just biz man. If it was a friend or foe my stance would still be the same.

I hope we can still meet up in Vegas and have that chat and drink :winkwink:

I'm getting my info from the horse's mouth. Several of them actually, who were there and took part in what went on. Where are you getting your info from that you believe is more valid than mine?

Thanks. As I've said, I really do understand people being cautious. I would be too if I was screwed over by iBill. Hopefully in time we can show those people who we are and when they are ready the will give it a shot.

Im not going to internext, we are mom pop without a program so dont do the shows.We have to go one year just to meet all the people, it would be fun. You werent at ibill so none of this is at you. :)

There are a lot more than 5 of us out here, but most of us have been through so much with the ibill saga that we don't have anything left to say. If you are confident enough to risk your entire business and reputation with these questionable people then thats your right, but personally I think you just made a major mistake. The entire ibill organization was a bunch of snakes from the top all the way down. :2 cents:
