Microwaves existed in 1967, and I doubt they truly meant 'flat panel' for the TV; the boxy style likely assumed it was inlaid.
The medical scanner was a great StarTrek type device, but entirely unfathomable, as well as the closet slash washing machine. For as much as they had right, it had been predicted, before. 1984 was written in 1948. |
