I thought my last thread was more than fair, i asked brazzers poliltely because the thread was slightly confusing before and i thought it was UNFAIR to brazzers that the thread was closed without giving them an oportunity to clear things up.

i dont know why eric closed my thread i wasn't accusing anyone of anything , infact i was tending to side with brazzers. i realise that brazzers already answered some questions , but the way they worded the response obviously left alot of unanswered questions considering their videos show up on pornhub. ( i.e. they have no connection with pornhub and dont agree with their marketting methods )

As an AFFILIATE i am asking do you allow affiliates to use your videos on sites like pornhub..

is the above video a house account or an affiliate account. ?

if i am being disrespectfull or out of line in asking this question then by all means have this thread closed, but personally i dont see a problem with asking a valid question .

i dont think the topic is closed when someone says " no we dont agree with their methods " yet their videos are on the site, furthermore i think it only makes brazzers look bad when mods close threads that can be fairly answered. all it does is makes it look like someone is covering someone's ass.

I don't think your question was out of line. I just think spending money on advertising here means you can get threads locked that you don't like. I personally think the locks make the threads look worse because I thought their response was very well written and concise.

if the mods want to close the thread they can , its their forum . i just think it makes brazzers look bad when they could simply say

" we have no affiliation with pornhub , nor do we allow our affiliates to use pornhub , the account above is an affiliate account.. end of story " or whatever their response might be..

Interested to know as well. It is obvious someone big is behind pornhub (considering they are purchasing so much traffic from other tube sites for pornhub), and it is also obvious pornhub has a lot of stolen videos on there, all upload by the same few accounts m0xxx for example. I am going to assume that it is highly unlikely that m0xxx, or whatever it is, is a true user account, but instead another typical DMCA tactic. So it would be interesting to know who is behind pornhub, or who is supporting it.

someone started a thread with a bit of a harsh title asking brazzers what their connection is..

brazzers replied that it was a child company of theirs that they used to be a part of but didnt agree with the marketting approach of pornhub and now they have no connection financial or otherwise , or something to that effect anyways

i noticed brazzers videos all over pornhub ans a few other people asked for clarification on their position..

the thread got locked at that point.

i started a new thread with a more fair thread title "brazzers - pornhub" asking them to clarify because the other thread left many people with more questions than answers.. it got locked

now we are here :)

The guy that runs a tgp company they have an interest in operates pornhub.

Their position on copyrighted content is ..... well look at the site.

If Brazzers didn't own pornhub then the thread would have been closed and they would have defended themselves better... the brazzers specific ads over the movies at pornhub pretty much proves the point.

that all depends on the scenario , if the site in question was promoting child porn i draw the line , if a company was using spyware to scam its own affiliates i would draw the line.

this forum is for discussing , i see nothing wrong with arguing the merits or lack of.

i didnt out anyone i just asked if they let affiliates submit videos to tube sites and if they have an exclusive contract with pornhub ( i.e. useless for me to submit videos there )




i see aff sanctioned by the ftc , and now has to jump thru hurdles their competition doesnt because they used spyware to promote aff, i see aff will likely be looked at with a fine tooth comb , and all the torrent sites may not want to be looked at with a fine tooth comb.. i see zango was warned and sanctioned the same way aff was before they got nabbed. they are still making money but its dancing on the head of a pin.

like i said in my earlier thread, in respect to pornhub , to me it looks like its actually being done properly in respect to giving credit to the sponsors ( although others have noted differently , i havent seen this yet ) i see nopthing wrong with brazzers running it if they did/do, as long as it isnt a haven for copyright theft.

I understand what you're saying but I think it's more of an announcement to help people with litigation. A lot of these sites hide behind private whois and foreign servers. Knowing who to serve with papers makes it a lot easier to get things done.

Hey Smokey, I didn't mean for you to shutup, just a figure of speech really. I agree that tube sites aren't doing their business in a fair and equitable manner, but honestly talking about it for days on end in thread after thread is akin to treading water for a long time.. Sure you worked hard, but did you get anywhere?

I do think some positive things can be done in a forum IF someone is actually going to take that info and file a suit, or complain to ISP's/hosts, etc. But really is that going to happen here?

Unfortunately and ironically the only way these things are going to get shut down is either A> government control (ugh!) on the net or B> sponsors actually follow some sort of "tube rules" that level the playing field somewhat, and make tube sites a profitable and welcome addition to adult marketing.

i would like to think so :) people still talk about slavery and it has been solved, if everyone just waited until someone followed a lawsuit we would still have slavery :winkwink: i think many people get the wrong assumption as soon as someone stands up and says " hey is this ok". I have a tube site , i am certainly not against them as a group.
i dont think the ftc just stumbled upon AFF, i have a feeling all of the "thread after thread" about aff either got some people busy or they were already here watching.
