New TGP Advice
 

So I have decided to take the plunge into TGP land. I was considering a MGP, but it seems with the extra bandwidth, I would have to purchase a new colo plan and I'm fine right now with my 400gb one. If the TGP takes off, I'll start a MGP.

I've searched forums a lot, got a lot of info and hints, however if anyone has anything they think a new adult webmaster should know, I'd really appreciate it. I host non adult sites currently, so I'm not new to the web game, but I am new and ignorant to this adult game.

I do have money to put up front as well, I know I am not going to start something up without spending cash on scripts, and traffic, but how I would go about it is still a mystery to me.

I'd appreciate all the help I could get. If you feel that you have a lot to share with me I would be willing to pay for someone's time to go over things with me as well.

If you are going into this to make money, my advice would be do something other than a TGP. My :2 cents:

Should be be considering something like an AVS site? Or a MGP? I don't really want to take the plunge into a custom content paysite right now, having no models and no equipment - I would have to purchase content from someone else up front.

If really are new to the adult game, then my advice would be learn more about it first.

Start by making simple 20-30 pic free sites and submit them to link-o-rama and other link sites. Do some avs sites too and maybe then try making and submitting tgp galleries.

Anyone care to list some more link sites?

BTW - thanks for the advice guys, I think that's what I am going to do. Buy up some content, make some galleries with sponsors, and submit em. I see lots of places on here to get some decent content for not that much.

I also see that adultplatinum offers their own galleries for sponsors, but I think that would not get me listed cause I'm sure that others have used em.

If I buy content from say reyko or adultczechcontent, can I stamp my URL on the pics? So even if they get stolen, I can still mabye get some traffic?

ok, how about a clean one. The marklet place is PACKED. There's a TGP on every street corner. Find something else more profitable.

Start 200 tgp's get them all up to 10k & img src your competition :thumbsup

If you have money to spend why not buy an established tgp. Isn't Peter selling all of his sites?

I am open to advice. I indicated that I was a chump when it comes to these things - I saw a TGP as a good starting point.

I thought if I started new, at least I would understand what I was doing, instead of spending money on something I know nothing about. Try to learn, and then perhaps buy.
