Another problem regarding traffic & revenue loss
There's a person or company out there with several hundred thousand .cn subdomains scraping text, site names & phrases from several thousand sites in an attempt to steal your SE traffic.
So, if surfer types in yoursitename or a key phrase of your site in search box, one of, or several of these .cn subdomains may come up on first or 2nd page. If user clicks this, he will get prompted for autoinstalls of, drive cleaners, video codec installs, etc. In addition to this, your site potentially suffers duplicate content penalty as these .cn scumbags are caching your sites text into theirs in order to steal your SE traffic These .cn urls in the SE redirect to several different pages every time you click them.. sometimes drive cleaners, other times video codec installs, etc, etc |
Yep, this has already been happening on some of my sites. You can see what I was able to find out in a thread I started on the AWE forum.
